Huawei Dual Core Android 3.2 MediaPad VS iPad 2

Apple iPad 2 continues to retain its place in the tablet market amid stiff competition from other manufacturers. To be frank, it is creditable in itself to be at the top for so long, and if iPad is still a darling of millions of tablet users worldwide, it is because of constant upgrade and a faster and better processor in iPad2 that keeps people in awe of this stunning device. Huawei MediaPad

Huawei MediaPad is a dual camera device with a rear 5 MP camera that is capable of recording HD videos and has features of auto focus and digital zoom. One can playback HD videos in 1080p on this tablet and it even boasts of a 1.3 MP front camera to take self portraits and to share them instantly with friends on FaceBook and Twitter. Though it has HDMI capabilities to playback 1080p HD videos on TV instantly, there is no on-board HDMI port. Connection to HDTV can be made via HDMI Adapter (optional accessories) connected to the 30 pin universal port on the device. Even USB port and SD card slot are missing here. All connections are via the 30 pin port and the connection kit, which is an optional accessory.

The unique feature of Huawei MediaPad is its ability to provide cloud based computing on the internet through its Hispace Cloud solution. MediaPad supports Flash 10.3 and that allows one to surf as if he was watching preloaded content. It has a nice 7 inch IPS LCD highly capacitive touch screen that provides a great resolution (217 pixels per inch) and visuals that are a treat unto themselves. Apple iPad2

iPad 2 is not merely an upgrade from its predecessor as iPad2 has a nearly two times faster processor and a 9+ times faster graphic processing ability. Despite this amazing improvement, iPad 2 is a miser when it comes to power consumption as it uses only as much battery as iPad. iPad 2 makes use of new A5 processor that is 1GHz and dual core. Despite keeping the display at 9.7 inches, Apple have managed to make iPad 33% thinner and 15% lighter which speaks volumes about the capacity of the company.

iPad retains the LED back lit LCD technology that gives a resolution of 1024×768 pixels but the new feature is the presence of two cameras. While the rear one can record HD videos, the front camera is a VGA one. iPad 2 packs a solid 512 MB RAM and is available in three models with 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB storage options as it does not support micro SD cards.
